Privacy Policy

The short version: your images never leave your device. ImageTools converts, resizes, compresses, crops, and views images entirely in your browser. The image bytes are read and processed locally and are never sent to any server.

Your images

When you drop a file onto the converter or viewer, it is processed in a Web Worker on your own computer. We have no upload endpoint and no server that receives files, so there is technically nothing for us to store, log, or see. Converted files are created in your browser’s memory and saved only when you click to download them.

What the site does load

The page loads its own code from our own domain, and — only for HEIC photos — a one-time download of the HEIC decoding engine (a WebAssembly file). Neither carries any data about your images. That is the only network activity required to process an image.

Analytics

If we add analytics in the future, it will measure page visits only — never your image content, which is processed locally and is never accessible to any analytics tool.

Advertising

This site may show ads in the future to keep the tool free. Any ad provider would receive page-level information only — never your images.
